About Anthony & ALS WorkWell Solutions.
For more than 20 years I’ve worked at the intersection of health, work, and people decisions, supporting individuals through recovery and helping organisations navigate complex absence and workforce wellbeing challenges.
Today, I focus that experience into specialist, decision focused coaching for two groups:
-
Senior HR leaders who carry high stakes, emotionally demanding absence and wellbeing cases.
-
Individuals who want structured, practical coaching around sleep difficulties or the psychological impact of injury.
Across both, my approach is the same: calm, confidential, non-directive coaching that strengthens clarity, confidence, and quality of thinking.
Low volume. High trust. Coaching only.

WHO I WORK WITH
For senior HR leaders
I work with HR Directors, Senior HR Business Partners, Heads of People and senior leaders who:
-
are accountable for complex sickness absence or workforce health decisions
-
carry significant emotional and organisational responsibility
-
want a confidential, senior-level sounding board
-
value reflection, clarity and robust judgement
-
need space to think outside operational pressure
If you’re holding complex stories, balancing risk and care, and don’t always have a safe space to think it through, this is where I come in.
For individuals
I also work with people who are:
-
struggling with sleep difficulties and want structured, practical support (Unwind)
-
recovering from injury and finding the process frustrating, uncertain or overwhelming (Rebound)
-
looking for collaborative coaching rather than instruction or treatment
Before starting, all clients complete a brief desktop suitability screening to ensure coaching is appropriate for their needs at that time.

This breadth means I understand the human, organisational and system realities that shape difficult decisions, especially when cases are sensitive, ambiguous or high risk.
HOW THIS EXPERIENCE SUPPORTS MY COACHING
Because I’ve seen these challenges from multiple angles, individual, organisational, clinical and operational, I understand:
-
the emotional load senior HR leaders carry
-
how quickly complexity can escalate
-
the tension between compassion, performance and risk
-
the impact of uncertainty on decision making
-
what happens when decisions are rushed, delayed or avoided
In coaching, this translates into:
-
grounded context from real world experience
-
calm structure when situations feel stuck or overwhelming
-
reflective challenge that sharpens thinking
-
a genuinely safe place to say what cannot be said internally
You already know your policies, processes and stakeholders.
I help you think clearly within that reality, not outside it.
HOW I WORK (COACHING, NOT CONSULTANCY)
My approach is:
-
coaching led and non-directive
-
confidential and reflective
-
ethically boundaried
-
focused on your thinking, not the case itself
-
designed to strengthen judgement, clarity and confidence
I do not provide:
-
clinical or medical advice
-
legal or HR advisory services
-
case management or operational direction
-
written reports or formal case opinions
-
guidance on organisational processes or outcomes
All decisions remain yours.
My role is to support the quality of your thinking, not to instruct or intervene.
MY STYLE
Clients describe my coaching as:
-
grounded
-
calm
-
pragmatic
-
emotionally steady
-
clear thinking
-
supportive yet appropriately challenging
I help you slow down, step back and think with more clarity, especially when situations feel complex, personal or high risk.
